It’s always great to hear how customer service can pleasantly surprise.

One point about the orchestra though, according to the story you linked, 50% of women made it through the first round of screening, but the mix of men and women did not become 50/50.

It appears blind auditions can increase the number of women selected, but in a more moderate way.
